Audio Switch 3x1 SPDIF Toslink Opinions Comments Ratings
Review data:
Name: | Audio Switch 3x1 SPDIF Toslink |
Description: | This device splits the signal from three optical connectors into one output, helping to organize cables. It's a simple, convenient, and inexpensive solution for expanding a home theater system. It supports LPCM 2.0, DTS, and Dolby-AC3. No drivers are needed because it is fully automatic and works on the principle of Plug and Play. The device has three TOSLINK/SPDIF optical inputs and one TOSLINK/SPDIF optical output. It supports audio-video synchronization (AV-sync) and cables up to 40 meters, with a signal reduction of 0.2 dB per meter. It can be placed at the end of a long optical cable to strengthen the signal. The manufacturer's code is JL-SP0301. The device has a 5V power connector, diodes indicating the selected port (red, green, blue), and a button for switching the input port. It is most often used to connect a new TV with a digital-optical output to other audio devices with the same connector. Thanks to the switch, you don't have to switch cables. The cables can be plugged in all the time, and the signal will come from the selected audio device. Just select the device from the remote control or the button on the device. |

I've been using it for half a year and it works great. The only shame is that it doesn't come with a power supply. There's only a USB cable to connect it. |
